Dear IFPCA Members,

I would like to start out by saying “THANK YOU” to all of the Commissioners who attended the fall Seminar in Naperville and the entire IFPCA Staff who worked together to make this great event happen. This was truly a phenomenal Seminar.

John Broiher’s General session was outstanding as usual and our guest speakers during Lunch, Taylor Anderson –Anderson Legislative Consulting, Benjamin Gehrt – Attorney with Clark Baird and Smith, and State Representative Jeanie Ives, were terrific and very informative.

I cannot forget about our Modules, the feedback was incredible and our instructors did a fantastic job. Again I want to say THANK YOU. This was one of our best attended Seminars we have had in the past few years. I would also like to encourage everyone to continue to attend these Seminars and become more involved with the IFPCA.

If you are interested in becoming a part of one of the most influential Commissions in the state of Illinois, please do not hesitate to contact the IFPCA office at (630) 571-1080.

Illinois State Statute states a municipality with a population over 5000 residents is compelled to create a Fire and Police Commission board. We need to reach out to our neighboring communities to find out if they are members of the IFPCA, and give their information to the IFPCA office. We also need to let them know about the IFPCA and how our organization can help them or prepare them for any issues that may arise with their commissions.

I enjoy serving you as President and seeing all of you in Naperville. I would like to wish all of you and your Families a Very Merry Christmas and a Joyous and Prosperous New Year. I will see you all next year at our Spring Seminar down in East Peoria at the Par-A-Dice Hotel and Casino on May 1st,2nd, and 3rd.

Thank You,

Tom Kucharski,
